Stories
The stories included in Letters To A Hospice Nurse are of people who lived amazing lives, many were from the Greatest Generation. Although the historic events which they participated could fill several volumes, these acts of courage and sacrifice are not the focus of the book. Instead, Nurse Derek asked each contributor to ‘go deeper’ into who their loved one was a real person. Their strengths, weaknesses, struggles, tragedies and personal triumphs. These are stories which will reach out to the heart of the reader to engage their own life experiences in the hope of leading them to the experience joy and healing from their own loss of a loved one.
